The 2018 Asian Games Organizing Committee (INASGOC) has set the ticket price for the opening and closing ceremony of the 2018 Asian Games at the Bung Karno Main Stadium, Jakarta. The cheapest opening ticket is priced at 750 thousand rupiah, while for closing 450 thousand rupiah. The highest opening price worth 5 million rupiah, as for the closure of 2 million rupiah.

Based on the exposure of the INASGOC Ticketing Department, ticket pricing is based on the Olympic Consul of Asia (OCA) standard. In addition, the Asian Games is the second largest sporting event in the world after the Olympics, so the price should be adjusted to the level of popularity and competitiveness

Another consideration is the opening ticket price and infiltration of the 2014 Asian Games Incheon South Korea and the previous countries.

For comparison, at the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou China, the cheapest opening ticket price is about 3.45 million rupiah, while the most expensive equivalent is 14.6 million rupiah.

INASGOC will provide 42,000 tickets from a total of 77,000 seats in SUGBK. As many as 20 percent of which will be allocated to free tickets for partners, media, students, and others.

The opening party of the Asian Games 2018 will take place on August 18, enlivened with art and cultural performances, national and international artist performances and fireworks performances.
